Do you need to quickly see encrypted database objects? dbForge SQL Decryptor can help you with that task. Additionally, it allows you to make changes to database objects and then save them to a file or directly alter the database.

When running the application you first have to enter server name and authentication details in order to connect to the database server. Server information is then displayed in the object explorer similar to the one found in SSMS.

Object Explorer allows you to browse and decrypt DB objects, such as triggers, procedures, views, and similar. Also, there is no need to use DAC, but in case you do use it, it will result in quicker decription when dealing with bigger databases.

Moreover, there are some additional features worth mentioning, such as syntax highlighting within the dedicated editor, and the option to decrypt more objects at once. You can decrypt every object or only select objects. When it comes to viewing DDL scripts, it can be done by right-clicking on the desired DB object.

In conclusion, dbForge SQL Decryptor can be used to quickly decrypt DB objects. It features an intuitive user interface and sports an object explorer similar to the one found in SSMS. Best of all it's free.
